Ezine Articles – Is It Worth The Hassle?
With any type of internet marketing staying on task is critically important.
My purpose in writing this blog post is once again to share marketing tips and techniques that you may find helpful in your quest for online marketing success.
The short answer for me is - NO.
I decided to add a few articles into the cue at Ezine Articles this past week since I had added a plug-in to my blog that allows you to validate and upload your blog post as an article with a couple of clicks. Hey, sounded like a great way to help master the mundane.
What was I thinking? I realized quickly why I haven't been posting articles there. They go in a holding pattern for a week or more, then you get emails telling you how you're in violation of some rule, and then you can start the process of trying to get it approved.
If I wanted an editor I'd work for a newspaper.
Well, I guess I'll be going back to Squidoo and Hubs again and see how the process goes there. Or I guess I can just leave my ranting and raving here on my blog.
Anyway....for me at least, Ezine Articles may be the proposed best shot for getting backlinks and traffic but for me it's not worth the hassle.
UPDATE: Well it seems that Ezine Aricles didn't like my submissions, and suspended my account until the problem articles are resolved. I just sent them a message asking them to not suspend my account but cancel it.
It's just like everything else you run across out there. What works great for one may not for another. So, you have to test these things for yourself.
