People Are Looking For Something New In Network Marketing

With any type of marketing staying focused is key.

As always the reason for this blog post is to share marketing tips and marketing techniques that I am learning on my online marketing journey.

It's amazing how many new MLM or network marketing companies are springing up. Almost daily.

The sad state of affairs however is that almost every new company is a spin-off or reincarnation of something that is already in existence. In other words, a "me too" company or product. Now I'll admit that the ingredients change, or maybe their is a new twist to the compensation plan but for the most part there are simply no, or very few programs, coming out in the MLM marketplace. Trust me I've been watching very closely.

Sadly the majority of people aren't making money in MLM, but some are. In fact there have been some reports that the average person in MLM makes less than $10 a month. Now that's sad.

So if they're selling me too products how are some people still successful?

They've learned how to master the mundane. What do I mean by that? For the most part the activities involved in a network marketing business are boring. That's right...boring.

If you're honest with yourself,  doing what's necessary to attract leads to you on a regular basis, isnt' easy. In fact it's one of the main reasons that people fail in network marketing. They sign up...they're fired up....then they're gone.

Writing articles, commenting on other blogs, posting on your own blogs, spending time in the social networks adding friends, sending out emails, mailing samples, following up with phone calls. Not as glamorous as it seemed at first. But as it's been said before by others, we have to be willing to do what others won't so later we can do what others can't.

So why does this boredom run people off?

They see the big numbers...the big houses...the fancy cars, but not the long hard road ahead. And even sadder, there's no one to guide them down that road. No roadmap or tour guide.

That was my plight for over 2 decades, but I was persistent, and I am now beating the odds. I've found that mastermind group, and a solid marketing system.

So, there is hope. You can be successful with a "me too" product if you have the right mindset, the right tools at your disposal, a willing tour guide, and the determination to put in the time and effort necessary to achieve your dreams. But frankly it is much easier if you have something with no or little competition in the marketplace.

Follow your dream, and remember, to be a success you have to learn to Master the Mundane.
