With any type of marketing staying focused is of paramount importance.

The purpose of this blog post is to share marketing tips and techniques that I discover in the hope of opening your mind to other possibilities.

Success in life really is about relationships. No matter what we do, we don't do it alone. At least for the most part.

If we achieve success in life it's always due to us taking action on information we've received from someone else. That's why the people we choose to associate with is so critically important.

My new friend Nancy Burke Barr, shared some insight with me that enabled me to clarify what I was wanting to share in my About Me page in my blog and on Facebook.

Don't treat this page lightly...it's extremely important.

So wanting to share my newest update, and send special thanks into the world for Nance.

    You are exactly spot on about the about! Your profile is where people on Social Networks look to see if you are someone they want to connect with, for a blog, that profile is (or should be) your About Page. Provide some insight to
    “Who” you are,
    “What” you want to accomplish
    “How” you are unique in what you can provide
    and “Why” your visitor should stay in touch.

    Then make sure to give them a means to do just that! Providing an opt-in form on your about page is just one more way to keep in contact with your visitors. When you can do that well, you will find they usually become customers or clients.
    And isn’t that the goal for a marketer? To provide services that provide answers to issues and problems your clients have?
